Aldo grow the first years of his life at the grandfather’s farm, where the family cultivated coconuts and went to fishing and lobstering.
In the intervening 40 years, Aldo has seen part of the world the area undergo tremendous change in some of ones. This has only strengthened his desire to show beautiful parts of the world for future generations in photography and tours– a project he is more passionate about today than ever before.
In 2004, he decided to settle in Tulum – and that’s when the idea of aldoancona.com was born. Today, thanks to Aldo’s unique knowledge and experience of the area, he become one of the most respected person in Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve where his working now on Mexico’s blossoming ecotourism industry.
